The mysterious collective Ak'chamel has built a solid reputation as one of the more impressive stage projects of recent years. Wearing haunting costumes and engaging in hallucinatory rituals including audience baptisms, soul auctions, and more. Their singular sound comprising desert-scorched psychedelia, post-apocalyptic shamanism, and lo-fi ritual-folk is as unique as the physical theater of their otherworldly live performances.

Authors of around fifteen cassettes, three vinyl LP’s on Akuphone and several cryptic VHS videos, they have been active for over a decade performing major festivals on both sides of the Atlantic (Le Guess Who, etc) garnering press from VICE, Consequence, The Wire, and many more…

Alex Silva

Alex Silva is a sound engineer and composer whose interpretation of electronic and contemporary composition draws influence from his early days playing in punk bands in Spain. Originally from Galicia, he completed a master’s degree in Music for Film Composition in Barcelona and currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland.

2013 Red Bull Music Academy alumnus Alex Silva is a sound engineer and composer whose interpretation of electronic and contemporary composition draws influence from his early days playing in punk bands in Spain. Originally from Galicia, he completed a master’s degree in music for Film Composition in Barcelona and currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland. His debut album Mind Patter Explorer got released by Canadian Duck Tapes in June 2017 on limited edition 12′′ vinyl and cassette tape and featured in “Off the Air” episode about technology broadcasted on Adult Swim.

Cocojoey is a Chicago-based musician making a unique and fast-moving blend of digital fusion and digital hardcore styles, observing slice-of-life absurdities and giving sound to a spiralling mind seeking internal and external peace. FFO: Cats, Katamari Damacy, and aggressive beats. Their latest album “COCOJOEY’S WORLD” represents humor and self-acceptance as a journey through kaleidoscopic harmony, virtuosic keyboard performance, and densely orchestrated electronic layers.

Known for highly energetic performances, COCOJOEY has quickly become a local mainstay. They have recently performed alongside artists such as HEALTH, Author&Punisher, Bubblegum Octopus, Lauren Bousfield, and Fraxiom. Recent releases include an official remix for Diana Starshine, and a feature on Fire-Toolz' latest album Breeze.

Heet Deth is a chaotic sludge and noise project from Chicago embracing hypnotic grating riffs and pounding drums to make you dance. This band is known for playing all around Chicago from ramshackle DIY spaces to jazz clubs, to ballrooms. Heet Deth has toured with the legendary band Cherubs, opened for touring bands such as Fat Dog, Lip Critic, and Local H, A Deer a Horse and Djunah. Heet Deth has played multiple festivals across the country that favor noise and heft over chill and sacherine: No Coast 2022 (TX), Caterwaul 2023 & 2024 (MPLS), Ghost Canyon 2023 (DEN). Heet Deth has had the pleasure of playing some of Chicago's largest historic venues, Thalia Hall and Metro bringing DIY ethos to the big stage. Recently Heet Deth released their sophomore album "Bad Reading" through the tastemaker Midwestern label, The Ghost Is Clear.

Home Entertainment is a Chicago Post-Punk band formed in 2018. Drawing comparisons to bands like Devo and The B-52s, their music blends driving rhythms, angular guitar riffs, and catchy hooks, while delivering a darker, more aggressive take on their New Wave/Post Punk influences. With two full-length albums ('Investments' and 'Qi') already under their belt, they are currently producing their next EP 'Violence Casino' for release in 2025. Known for hard hitting live performances, Home Entertainment has toured nationally, played festivals in Chicago, Memphis, and Atlanta, and frequented notable haunts in the Midwest region.

The Austin Chronicle has called his act "a definite must see" and Comedy Wham has described him as "brillant". Joey has performed at Moontower Comedy Festival (x4) , SXSW , and High Holidays for Luck Reunion. Nebraska's elusive Leather Band, PLACK BLAGUE, has been on a rampant
path of sex, destruction and electronic leather mayhem for over two
decades. Performing internationally from large theaters and dive bars,
to art galleries, dingy basements, and even children's television
shows, the leather-clad monstrosity continues to attract and
confuse audiences varying from dance party club kids to heavy metal
beer guzzlers. PLACK BLAGUE's sound emits a vile combination of
primitive Industrial noise, sadistic Body Music, and throbbing dance
beat party vibes. The live performance is a "must see" spectacle of
homoerotic Leathersexual delusions of grandeur mixed with muscle
flexing tantrums of harsh noise and electronic disco.

Plack Blague has been making headlines with feature articles in media
outlets Revolver Magazine and Out Magazine, who premiered the music
video for "Just Another Man of the Street" from the 2017 album "Night
Trax" released by New York City label, Ormolycka Records. Touring
extensively across the United States and Canada, the band caught the
attention of Adam Lee Miller from Detroit's ADULT., who began
producing new music with the Blague and also included them as direct
opening support for their full U.S. tour in the Fall of 2018.
Throughout 2019, Plack Blague went coast to coast in the states while
also including a Spring European tour as direct support opening for
Los Angeles hardcore rap/punk outfit, Ho99o9 plus a West Coast tour
from Canada to Mexico with art rockers, Psychic Graveyard. Since
returning to live music in late 2020, Blague has performed coast to
coast and in between. 2022 kicked off with a full UK/EU tour as
direct support for ADULT., performing 22 shows in 12 countries. Plack Blague has made chatter for their live performances throughout festivals such as Substance, Cold Waves, Infest (UK), Music Frozen Dancing, and Folsom Street Fair. Over the years, they have shared the stage with a variety of eclectic artists such as Psychic TV, Charli XCX, Big Freedia, Mykki Blanco, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, The Faint, Adore Delano, Front Line Assembly and Powerman 5000.

My name is Darren Keen. I am from Chicago and I do the one person band called PROBLEMS.

PROBLEMS Has toured Europe, New Zealand, and America extensively. I have opened for Peaches, Dan Deacon, Pile, death's dynamic shrout, Lightning Bolt, Wolf Eyes, Plack Blague, Mezerg, and many others. I have played at Meow Wolf in Denver, and several fests including Camp A Low Hum (NZ), Laektro (DK), No Coast Fest (TX) and the Petfest and Lincoln Calling fests in Nebraska.

My new 12” LP “Enter The Annals” was released this year on The Record Machine. I have previously worked with Orange Milk Records and Geertruida (NL).

I make composer driven electronic music with live vocals that is sometimes very fun and is sometimes very beautiful and is always interesting.
